Account Banned After Multiple Password Resets in Companion App – Urgent Review
Hello EA Community, I’m experiencing an urgent issue with my EA SPORTS FC™ 25 account, which was mistakenly banned after I was repeatedly prompted to reset my password while trying to log into the Companion App. Here’s a summary of what happened: I attempted to log into the FIFA 25 Companion App multiple times but kept receiving prompts to reset my password. I followed the instructions and reset my password 2-3 times as advised by the system, but after the third reset, I was banned from the account entirely.
Despite this, I did not violate any terms of service—I was simply trying to access my account and was locked out due to EA’s own security measures. I’ve already contacted EA support through email and chat, but the issue remains unresolved, and I’m still locked out of my account. I’ve submitted a formal ban appeal through the EA Help portal, but this issue is affecting my ability to play and I would appreciate immediate assistance. Could a moderator or EA staff member please review my case urgently and help lift this ban so I can get back to playing the game I’ve paid for?
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
I appreciate any assistance or escalation to the appropriate team!

Hi Harambalicious,
Based on what you shared, the account might be locked for your protection:
Understanding locks, bans, and suspensions
- Lock: we’ll temporarily remove access to a game or your EA Account when we notice too many failed login attempts or other suspicious activity. We do this to protect your account from being accessed by anyone other than you. Learn more about what you can do if you’ve been locked out of your account.
I won't know for sure though as we can’t handle bans or appeals through the EA Forums.
It sounds like you've already done the best thing by sending an appeal. An appeal goes directly through to our dedicated Terms of Service team for review. They will be in touch through email (noreply@ea.com) as soon as the investigation has wrapped up. The email will give you further details about the decision and how to dispute it if you think we’ve made a mistake. Please keep an eye out for your email inbox.
