Adjust net-code let us choose which data center to connect to

When I play eafc ut I’m not connecting to my nearest data center which would be in LA instead trace routes show I’m connecting to data centers in Europe and this makes online gameplay to become slow and unresponsive. I don’t know if this is because of ea or my isp but either way I feel like this could be greatly mitigated by ea if they just let us choose which data centers we connect to like in apex legends.
