Before touching Windows updates, I did the usual fixes:
-Verified game files on Steam
-Cleared the EA App cache
-Restarted Steam, EA App, and PC
If you haven’t done these yet, try them first. If the issue persists, then continue with the fix below.
The Fix:
Open Settings → Windows Update → Update History → Uninstall updates
Look for updates installed on 30th or 31st August 2025
Uninstall all of them (including .NET Framework KB5064401 and any cumulative updates)
Restart your PC
Launch FC25 again → it should now work 🎉
Extra Tip:
Pause Windows Updates for a while so they don’t auto-reinstall and break the game again:
Go to Settings → Windows Update → Pause updates (7–35 days).

Big thanks to mumunaya from EA Forums who suggested uninstalling the Windows updates — I first tried only KB5064401, but the real fix was to remove all the Aug 30th updates.
