I've had similar issues before, and sometimes it was linked to server-side problems or a corrupted game file. Have you tried clearing your console's cache or reinstalling the game? Also worth checking if there's an update pending for either the game or EA servers. Hopefully they sort this out soon, it’s been acting up for a lot of people lately.
