My defender got a red card when I was not moving him

Question

I'm attaching a picture of what happened. My right center back intercepted the ball and he was the one controlled by me. I never controlled the left center back and he got a red card for no reason.

This game is a joke. Fix it.

I was playing an Ultimate Team friendly game where money is on the line.

They say the game has a program making it glitchy. Heard about one dude apologizing to his mate for having his AI scoring a goal with a player he did not control. Some speculate about this affecting how we can see results go from leading 3-0 to suddenly having every bounce going in the opponents favor, ending up losing by a large margin.
