Ultimate team is unplayable on PS5

I downloaded FIFA a few weeks ago. I had played previous versions and really wanted to play Ultimate Team, but it’s simply unplayable. I'm not talking about a bit of input delay — it’s simply not working. The ball is teleporting, players are floating, and the most random anomalies are happening on the field. I have a 50–65 ping. While that’s not ideal, I’ve never seen a game this bad. Before any of you say it’s my connection, I have a wired setup and Clubs plays pretty normally. Also, it’s five times worse if the opponent is on PS as well. So my questions are: is there anything I can do on my own? And doesn’t EA monitor in-game performance? If so, CAN CONSOLE PLAYERS HAVE NORMAL GAMEPLAY, PLEASE?
