Contract Negotiations

I am someone who has been loyal to the Fifa games over the years and have been pre-ordering the game since Fifa 22 every year. Now, my preferred game mode is Manager Career Mode, I love playing with different teams and taking them to the glory that they seem to be unable to do for themselves and since playing FC 26, I have begun an Arsenal Career Mode where I thought, I don’t have anything to worry about in terms of contract situations considering that I don’t have any players under a year in contract and should be fine, despite this I had William Saliba send me a message about getting a new deal and I was more than happy to give it to him but I hadn’t seen the message because it is not clear when a player decides to ask for a new contract, it’s really clear when players have a stomach ache but when it comes to the MOST important thing in the game to not lose your best players, it seems hidden away and unclear. Despite it being only a month since he had said this, he was back to not willing to renegotiate and a week later he asked to leave, this was a huge disappointment to me considering that I was so hyped for this game but this needs to be changed quickly, players are way too excited to leave the club even if they haven’t even started the final year of the contract and they should be able to renegotiate their contract until they are able to be given a new one or a dismiss renewal has come up, this is my first time ever providing feedback so I hope this shows my frustration with this situation and encourage you to make a change with this mechanic.
