FC 26 Career Mode: Suggestions to Improve Realism and Squad Management
I’d like to share some feedback on Career Mode in FC 26. While the mode has improved over the years, there are still key areas where it falls short of real football management. Addressing these would greatly improve realism, squad planning, and long-term engagement.
1. Youth Academy size & matches
Increase academy squad size. Allow full 11 vs 11 academy matches. This would make youth development feel more realistic and meaningful.
2. Academy access via transfers
Allow young players signed through normal transfers to be assigned to the academy. Enable free movement of players between the academy and first team. This would reflect how clubs actually manage youth players.
3. Academy integration & loans
I should be able to temporarily make academy players available for first-team matches and then move them back afterward. In addition, academy players should be loanable, to help with development and squad planning.
4. Player potential visibility
Show full player potential at all times, including in the first-team squad hub. This would allow better long-term planning and clearer decisions when managing both first-team and academy players.
5. Squad depth view
Add a full squad depth overview showing strengths, weaknesses, and positional coverage across first team and academy.
6. Player profiles
Include detailed profiles with career history, current and full potential, age, market value, and loan/development history etc..
If anyone agrees with this suggestions please like so that EA can see it..
