Should I need to even make a discussion about this. I’m tired of losing to someone who only spams square or X to play defense. And then anytime you score a goal on someone EA just finds it the most hilarious and delightful thing to just award their attacker immunity to any defense and he just SPRINTS like a **bleep** lizard on water to my goal. Something has to give.
Oh yes! The infamous kick-off glitch, which is in the game since 1996.
You'd think 20 years would be enough time to fix it, but obviously it isn't.

This isn't a glitch. It's a gameplay mechanic that appears to have been introduced to "balance" matches. Instead, it often makes the game feel unfair and, frankly, ridiculous. Both teams can end up scoring immediately after kick-off, leading to absurd scorelines like 10–11 that bear no resemblance to real football.
The worst part is when this mechanic only seems to benefit one side for "some" reason.
So which is it, dear EA Sports? Bug or gameplay mechanic?
