Hair and cloth physics do not work at all on PC (even on high-end settings)

I’m reporting a serious issue with EA Sports FC 26 on PC:

strand-based hair and cloth physics do not work at all.
I tested this in:

• matches

• replays

• cutscenes

• create a player

Hair is completely static.

Kits do not react to movement.

Players look like rigid plastic models.

 

This happens even with:

• Realistic Hair enabled

• Ultra graphics

• All settings manually forced in config files

 

This is not a low-end PC problem. My system is more than capable of running these features:

 

PC specs:

• CPU: Intel i3-9100F

• GPU: RTX 2060 (6GB VRAM)

• RAM: 16 GB

• Storage: NVMe SSD

• Resolution: 2560×1440 (2K)

• Monitor: 100 Hz

 

I even forced the following in fcsetup.ini and overrideAutodetect.lua:

• StrandBasedHair = 1

• ClothQuality = 2

• VSync OFF

• 100 FPS target

 

Nothing changes.

The game simply does not load these features.

 

This makes the PC version look significantly worse than console versions and even worse than previous FIFA games.

If these features are not supported on PC, then the graphics options should not exist. Right now this feels misleading and broken.

    I have a similar thing. All blond players in competitive games (not against AI) have grey hair instead of blond.
