Its very sad ...PLEASE HEAR US EA...DONT DO THIS WITH FOOTBALL LOVERS...

I’ve been playing this game since childhood with my brother—right from FIFA 2004 and FIFA 2007 days. Back then, and even up to recent editions, the game actually felt like football. Skill, tactics, and understanding the game mattered.

Right now in EAFC 26, I was just one or two games away from reaching Division 3… and suddenly I’m on the verge of getting relegated to Division 6. Not because I forgot how to play—but because the game itself has changed completely.

Now it feels like only dribbling matters. Defending is absolutely broken. Whether it’s AI or manual control, defenders can’t react to what’s happening. Even if we read the play correctly, intercept perfectly the ball still somehow ends up back at the opponent’s feet.

And this isn’t about being “pro” or not. We’re regular players who understand football. Earlier, we always had that belief that with proper tactics and gameplay, we could compete—even beat better players on our day. That balance is gone.

What’s worse is that even top defenders feel useless. You can have Maldini or Renard at the back—it doesn’t matter. One player with insane dribbling, or someone using Ronaldo or Ronaldinho, can just walk through everything. At that point, it feels like the game is playing itself.

Where in real football do players just dribble endlessly inside the box like that without consequence?

Please bring back the balance the game used to have—like in FIFA 21, 22, and 23. This current version feels completely off. You’re not rewarding football anymore, you’re just promoting unrealistic dribbling mechanics.

At this rate, you might as well rename EAFC 27 to “Dribbling 27.”

Please don’t do this to people who genuinely love football. Fix defending. Bring back real gameplay.
