New Game Engine. Better Realism & Immersion.
Does EA look at the core gameplay mechanics and animations (dribbling, turns and passing) and genuinely believe that the game has any realism or immersion.
Here's a suggestion - that EA should've implemented few years ago - look at Football Life 26 (FL 26), this is a game built on a engine that is 5 years old and yet the game play is more realistic and immersive then FIFA/FC has every been able to produce.
Why in 2026 are players having to endure substandard biomechanics, animations and ball physics.
The turns are so quick and sharp for even defenders. The first touch glued to the feet. The dribbling form every player barely moving 1mm away from the feet. These area few key things that makes the gameplay embarrassing relative to how far along biomechanics and physics should be in 2026 - and they are in almost all A list games apart from football games.
This is why for so many years, so many people use the words "ping pong", "ice skating", "poor dribbling and turn animations". It truly is awful in 2026.
The whole game engine needs a revisit - it's been poor for a long time. That's why a good number of players (offline or online) stop playing the game after 2-3 months.
