No Fouls or Injuries After 29 Matches on World Class

Hi EA team,

I wanted to flag a major issue that’s breaking the realism of EA FC 26. I’ve now played 29 full matches on World Class difficulty, 8-minute halves, and default sliders (even tried custom sets from Operation Sports). Across all those games, I’ve seen zero fouls and zero injuries from the AI — not a single yellow or red card.

That means every game plays out exactly the same: constant physical contact, tackles from behind, but no whistle and no stoppages. It completely removes the flow and authenticity that’s supposed to define “Authentic Gameplay.”

What’s concerning is that:

  • The Referee Strictness slider doesn’t seem to change anything.
  • The AI rarely attempts risky tackles — they just jockey or contain.
  • Even obvious collisions or trips aren’t recognized as fouls.
  • Injuries are almost nonexistent, even on high frequency settings.

I understand that you’ve made big strides with HyperMotionV and animation smoothness, but the collision and foul detection logic feels far too conservative. Football needs fouls, cards, and the occasional injury to feel real — they’re part of what makes matches unpredictable.

Could the gameplay team please review referee thresholds and AI tackle aggression in an upcoming patch? Even a small adjustment would make a massive difference to realism and immersion for Career Mode players.

Thanks for taking the time to read — I know tuning gameplay balance isn’t easy, but this area really deserves attention if FC 26 is aiming for “authentic football.”
