Playstyles with Created Players
I believe FC26 should allow custom created players to be assigned playstyles in the same way they can be in Career Mode, and that these players should also be usable in Kick Off. Being able to choose playstyles would make created players feel more authentic and balanced, letting users tailor them to specific roles and attributes rather than having generic gameplay behavior. Extending this feature to Kick Off would also increase replay value and creativity, giving players more freedom to experiment with custom teams and scenarios across different game modes.
There are already many playstyles in the game that show how impactful this system can be, such as Finesse Shot, which helps attackers score more consistently from outside the box, or Rapid, which benefits quick wingers and fullbacks when accelerating past defenders. Anticipate is especially useful for defenders, allowing them to win tackles more cleanly, while Pinged Pass helps midfielders switch play quickly and accurately. For goalkeepers, playstyles like Far Throw can kick-start counterattacks, and for strikers, Aerial makes them more dangerous when challenging for crosses, showing how assigning these traits can clearly define a player’s strengths and role on the pitch.
This would be especially valuable for players who create characters based on popular shows or anime like Blue Lock, where each character is defined by very specific skills and playstyles. Fans often want to recreate these characters as accurately as possible, and being able to assign the appropriate playstyles—such as elite shooting traits for strikers or unique dribbling and movement styles—would help reflect their personalities and abilities from the show. Without this option, created characters can feel incomplete or inaccurate, whereas allowing custom playstyle selection would let creators fully capture what makes these characters special and bring them to life in-game.
