Among the things we hope FC26 will improve
As a passionate fan of the EA SPORTS FC series, I’m excited for FC 26 and all the new features it may bring. However, I’d like to share a few things I truly hope will be improved this year — especially when it comes to immersion and realism in animations.
For example:
• When players walk out onto the pitch with children, their hands often don’t touch — there’s a noticeable gap, which breaks the sense of realism.
• During pre-match handshakes between players, either the hands don’t meet, or one hand awkwardly clips into the other.
• After scoring, celebrations like hugs often feel lifeless — players don’t really touch, or arms unrealistically pass through bodies.
• And one of the most emotional moments — lifting the trophy — sometimes falls short visually. Hands float over the handles, or the trophy clips into the player's hands instead of feeling like a real, weighty object.
These moments matter because they are the emotional highlights of football. Fixing these animation gaps would go a long way in making FC 26 feel more immersive, lifelike, and rewarding to play. We love this game and believe in its potential to keep getting better.
Thank you for your hard work — we’re looking forward to what’s next.
