After many years of playing FIFA, this is a total disaster. When FC26 came out it felt great accurate passes, proper defending but everything got worse over time. My passes now go straight to the opponent, I can’t intercept anything, and the defense spreads out and just stops.

Hard to believe no passes go to your players. Not all passes should reach their destination. But for all not to i find hard to believe.
Defending is the worst. I was running between the passer and the pass receiver. My opponent kicked the ball directly into my path. My player literally spread his legs and the pass went through the gap, to the receiver.
Anticipate playstyle is a joke. The ball bounces off my player and to his teammate for an easy goal.
blue166 the thing that I noticed for the passes to be fair that they are way faster than the previous ones , but for me and it happens to me a lot my player is directed to the other player I want to pass and I barely tap on pass button, the pass either goes to the opposite direction or it goes full power to the player after the one that I wanted to pass and most of the time he is offside.
or when I tap on the pass button the player is not passing he just leave the ball , and the player indicator switches to another player
