Actually much more than half the playerbase, closer to between 80-90%, which is why EA changed it and now the vast majority of the games playerbase are going to stay on the game.

If 80-90% players are bad then why EA needs make the gameplay bad? So that they can think themselves that they are good at this game? That's hilarious bro. They need to improve at this game by learning not by making this game trash, easy and AI based. If a bad player beats you because of the bad gameplay will you be happy? The problem is with the majority people like you said. Not everyone is going to take 15-0 in weekend league. There is a new game mode for div7/casual players that they can play instead of weekend league and get rewards. Why not play that one if you have problem facing good players and struggling at defending? Why do they need to play weekend league if they are bad? Why change the game that was fast and enjoyable?
I think if they make the rewards better on that mode people will finally stop complaining about game is too difficult to defend and stop play weekend league.
A win for EA? No man massive L.
