Formal Complaint - FC 26 Input Integrity and Stealth Dribbling Nerfs
To the EA Sports FC Dev Team,
I am writing this as a veteran player to address the immediate and catastrophic decline in gameplay quality over the last 24 hours.
Yesterday, the game was fluid and responsive. Today, the left-stick dribbling has been effectively ruined. Whether it was a stealth Live Tuning Update to account for the high scoring or just absolute server incompetence, the result is the same: you have killed the skill gap (agian!).
The Core Issues:
- Turning Radius: My players (including elite players like Mbappé) now turn with a delay that feels like 3-4 frames of added latency. It’s like they have "cement boots."
- Defensive "Tethering": You’ve buffed manual jockeying and AI tightness to the point where my dribbler is "sucked into" the defender's radius, making it impossible to pivot or exit a turn with any speed.
- One-Touch Errand Passes: First-time passes that were surgical 24 hours ago are now flying wide. You are punishing manual precision and rewarding AI-assisted "clogging" of the midfield.
I play on a USB-Wired DualSense Edge specifically for input fidelity. If I can feel this level of "Mud" and unresponsiveness, the engine is broken. You’ve taken a game that was finally rewarding "Pure" football logic and turned it back into a slow, boring possession sim.
Fix the responsiveness or admit that you are deliberately nerfing attacking movement to protect the players who can't defend manually.
I'm getting awfully tired coming back week after week saying it's fixed and then to find you nerf it again and see it's ruined. I think you need to build the game from the ground up to compete with 2K and others entering the market. In the interim, I think less is more - we all agree Fifa 13 and 17 were the best because they had a cleaner base code, not years upon years of layered code. Please gut the excess coding and give us a clean dynamic game that feels, precise, quick and rewarding. This is getting ridiculous.
