I couldn't get my WL points rewards

On Sunday, while playing the final matches of my WL games, I automatically received the ‘play and earn WL points’ rewards added to the game. Since my WL matches weren't over, I didn't receive my 1000 point reward. I thought it would come once WL was over, but it didn't come even after it ended. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? Why are they introducing WL point-earning tasks before the WL is over? If they are introducing them, why aren't the rewards being credited to my account?
