ICONS in offline modes
Hi EA Team,
I wanted to raise a suggestion that I believe many offline players would truly appreciate.
Right now, ICONS are only available in online modes like Ultimate Team, but it's really disappointing that we can’t use them in offline modes such as Tournament Mode or Career Mode. As someone who prefers offline play, it feels like we’re missing out on one of the most exciting parts of the game.
Why shouldn’t offline players get the same chance to enjoy legendary players? I'd love to recreate historic lineups and relive football nostalgia:
- Roberto Carlos and R9 (Ronaldo Nazário) back in Real Madrid
- Eric Cantona donning the red of Manchester United again
- Alan Shearer leading the line for Newcastle
There’s so much potential for fun, replayability, and immersion when ICONS are made available across all modes, not just online. It’s frustrating that this amazing content is locked away if you’re not playing FUT.
Please consider enabling ICONS for use in offline modes. Whether it's through squad editing, default rosters, or an unlock system, it would make a huge difference to fans who enjoy offline experiences just as much as the online community.
