Nintendo Switch 2 experience and comments

I am hoping that this thread will gain some attention, specifically towards the Nintendo Switch 2 experience. Part of this is my own naiveté surrounding FC 26 development, so apologies if I say something that is already known or has already been discussed.

First, I am enjoying the FC 26 experience but am getting frustrated at the lack of online play modes available. I live in the northeast US. Not exactly a “rural” place in the world but I cannot find opponents in Ultimate Team, Seasons or otherwise. In the 3 weeks I’ve owned the game I’ve been able to find exactly two (2) Seasons matches, and I check every day. I play most days in the evenings, so this would be considered “peak” gaming time for those on the eastern US.

I am particularly disappointed that I cannot advance Objectives in Ultimate Team, again specifically due to the Rush mode Objectives that you need to complete in order to get the Transfer Market. Again, I’ve tried most evenings to find Rush opponents but continue to get “no teammates found” errors after it searches for a while. I have adjusted matchmaking settings to optimize this but no luck.

My questions in no particular order:

• Will Switch 2 ever get crossplay with other consoles?
• Can the Rush objectives in UT be bypassed in any way so I can play the game to its full potential?
• Are there tips/tricks other Switch 2 players have found that have allowed them to find online opponents?
• Are other Switch 2 players having these same issues?

Frankly, I feel like 50% of the game is locked behind poor development. I understand that the Nintendo Switch 2 playerbase may not be as robust as other consoles but to lock us out of a significant portion of the games features and provide NO communication about fixes or path forward is very frustrating.
