PlayStation compared to Xbox and Fc 26

Hey everyone,

I’ve been playing FC 25 on PS5 since January after switching from Xbox, and after spending time on both platforms, I’ve noticed some clear differences.

Here’s what stood out:

• On Xbox, strand-based hairstyles only appear on star players like Ronaldo, Messi, and a few others, but for created players or most others, it’s missing. On PS5, these hairstyles are more widely available across the board.
• The gameplay on PS5 feels more realistic and smoother — from player movement to ball control, everything just feels better.
• EA advertised kit movement and laces reacting during matches, which are noticeable on PS5, but on Xbox those details are either toned down or missing entirely.
• Menus, presentation, and overall polish also seem sharper and more fluid on PS5.

Both Xbox Series X|S and PS5 are next-gen consoles, so I expected the game to be the same across both. But it really feels like the Xbox version is missing some key features and polish — and I feel like this issue has been hiding away for however long without much attention.

Has anyone else noticed this? And does anyone know if EA plans to fix or equalize these differences for FC 26?
