Questions About Matchmaking and Connection in FC 26

Hi everyone! I'm an FC 26 player from Beijing, China, and I have a couple of questions I'd like to ask.

First question: Since there are no EA servers in mainland China, we have to use a game booster/VPN to connect to the Hong Kong server with the lowest latency. In Champions and Division Rivals, does the matchmaking system prioritize opponents with a similar ping/latency to mine?

Second question: When I play an Online Friendly with an EA friend, is the match still processed through EA's game servers, or does it switch to a direct P2P connection between me and my friend?
