What is going on?

Never have the game deciding the winner been so bad as this last week. I loose to so many players where I am so much better and have every statistics on my side and then they get 5 odd goals out of nowhere or my players turns to bricks. I also win over so many players that are far better than me. Their skill level is far above me and then I get 5 odd goals and win. No joy and it makes no sense. Loose when you are best and win when you are worst. It is so obvious that the game decides the winner and often you can feel you either a goal or concede one no matter what you do.
