14+ Days Server Outage - #242548565 - Refund Denied & Escalation Refused
Platform: PC
Gamertag / Username: 7t01chbamtt9
Timestamp (with timezone): April 25, 2026, 6:39 PM (EEST / UTC+3)
Region: Egypt
ISP: WE (Telecom Egypt)
Connection type: Wired
Game Mode: All online modes
Laptop: Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3
GPU: RTX 3060 (Drivers up to date)
OS: Windows 11
Connection: Static IP, 54 Ping, Stable Network, LAN Connection.
Problem Description:
I am experiencing a massive input delay that starts at ~1 second and builds up to 10+ seconds over the course of a match. Pausing the game fixes it momentarily, but the "queue" of inputs immediately begins building back up.
Crucial Detail: This ONLY happens in 11v11 online modes
Rush works perfectly with zero delay.
Offline Gameplay runs at 160+ FPS on Ultra with zero issues.
The issue started right after the last update 2 weeks ago
It disappeared for while when I capped the fps at 60 but now it happens even at 30 fps
Technical Support Update:
I contacted EA Help the first time after 5 days from the beginning of the issue then once again after 14 days of being unable to use the product I paid for and this is what happened the in the second live chat with "Pawan":
- The advisor (Pawan) explicitly stated: "The issue that you are facing is something which we're already aware of. We're receiving similar reports from other players around the globe."
- Despite admitting the product is broken, support could not provide an ETR (Estimated Time of Repair).
- I requested a refund based on a significant breach of contract (14+ days of service outage) and Egyptian Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 181 of 2018) regarding defective services. This was flatly denied.
- I repeatedly asked to speak with a supervisor or a higher authority. The agent refused, claiming, "We're the highest authority available here on the live chat," and instead offered a "1 Rare Gold Pack" as compensation for a functionally unplayable game.
