Come on EA! Game Crashes before title screen!

I bought the game on Steam for my Alienware m16 r2 laptop and the game crashes before it even gets to the title screen/menu! Why? is there a fix? Do I need to provide any more details?

I've uninstalled/reinstalled the game. This would be more helpful if there was an error message
