Constant controller vibration in menus

What, different users having the exact same issue (highly specific, constant vibration and the RT not opening the social menu) across different models of controller (Xbox and PS5) and it's not game related?

FYI upon completely disconnecting my controller, the game still thinks there's a Playstation controller attached. This is evident because when I look at the icons at the bottom of the menu system, it is showing Playstation buttons (and it shows the last used input method). 

This is a very similar issue to the one that many people were having in the new Skate game, where the game was convinced that a Playstation controller was connected. It manifests in different ways (because they're different games) but I'd bet the underlying issue is the same. And in case you don't see the connection, that's also an EA game.

As a Community Manager you'll surely know that for every person who actually logs on to the website to report an issue, there are likely dozens if not hundreds of people who have no idea how to do that/can't be bothered.

By all means bury your head in the sand and pretend this is a user-specific issue if you like, because blaming it on users and their setups is way easier than getting the issue fixed. 

I'm personally refunding, hopefully when the Saudi PIF takes over they fire everyone involved and hire people with brain cells.
