Constant Fps drop and input lag on controller

I have been experiencing a gameplay performance issue in EA FC 26 since I first purchased the game.

Typically, when I launch the game, I experience severe lag, FPS drops, stuttering, and input delay for approximately 10–15 minutes. After that period, the game usually stabilizes, runs at normal FPS, and the input delay disappears. This issue has been present since launch, although it seemed to improve somewhat over time and occurred less frequently in recent months.

However, on 24 June 2026, the problem became significantly worse. During my gameplay session, the game suffered from constant stuttering, FPS drops, and lag. I restarted the game multiple times, but the issue did not resolve. Even when the FPS drops temporarily improved, I continued to experience noticeable input delay on my wired controller. The delay would occur repeatedly for a few seconds at a time, making it extremely difficult to play.

I spent more than two hours trying to troubleshoot and continue playing, but the gameplay remained frustrating and inconsistent. Eventually, I closed the game due to the ongoing issues. When I returned a few hours later, the FPS-related problems had mostly improved, but the controller input delay was still present, although less frequent than before.

Because of these performance and input issues, the overall gameplay experience was severely affected. I was only barely able to complete my daily objectives. I would appreciate it if this issue could be investigated, as it is extremely frustrating to experience persistent lag, stuttering, and controller input delay in EA FC 26.
