Controller / mouse and keyboard stop working

Hi. I'm having an issue with my controller stopping working have way through a game. This happens in ultimate team, both in rivals and squad battles and on the menus. The controller just stops so I try the mouse or keyboard and they dont work either. I have to close the game and reboot.

I've had the game on PC for 4 days and I've had these issues from the start but it only happened on the menus to begin with. Now I can't get through the first half without my controller stopping.

Any help would be appreciated.
