Controller doesn’t work in game

Like 1/3 of the games I enter in to (which I use my controller to enter with and it works perfectly fine in the menus) decides that as soon as I actually load into the game it is incapable of moving my player and I’ve received at least 10 disqualifications due to the fact that I simply cannot control my player. To make it worse, it’s not as if the controller then needs to reconnect, as soon as I am out of the game it goes back to working fine as if there was no problem at all. These dqs happen consistently and are reducing my match earnings, my ability to play the game, and overall my desire to play this horribly made game.
