Controller not working/mind of its own on PC

Hey B7OK​ what controller are you having issues with?

When the issue occurs do you have other USB devices plugged in, no harm removing all and testing it again.

Hey Darko,

Using a standard Xbox One controller and I did try that but of course I can’t take out my mouse/monitors. Any unnecessary ones like a charger I unplugged though, think it’s something to do with the game though because I would then load up another game and it would work perfectly with the controller :/

Try removing the mouse when in-game B7OK​ to see if it makes a difference.

Can you try using it both wired and using bluetooth to see if there is any difference in how it reacts.

I see, I will try when I am able to. Another thing that may relate to the issues is that I will try and click through stuff on the menu (as if I’m using keyboard and mouse) yet it won’t register and then snap my cursor back to the top left of the screen. I did unplug my mouse once before when in game and didn’t seem to make a difference but there wouldn’t be something in the back end/files causing the game and the controller not to work together right?

Generally it is something controller side causing issues like this B7OK​ so troubleshooting it is first thing to try.

Having tried this, it has no worked. Removing the mouse makes it slightly better but there is still high amounts of input delay with the controller on the menu or it registering selections that I am not even pressing :(

I have just tried using my keyboard and mouse on the menus with everything in relation to my controller disconnected and it is still happening so this leads me to believe it’s something wrong with the game cause that is not having any issues anywhere else

And it keeps snapping my curser to the top left of the screen at random points, this has never happened before

Not seen something like this myself when using controller or mouse B7OK​. If this was game related then we'd likely be seeing a huge influx of reports around it.

Can you try a new Windows admin account and test the game there to see what happens?

Just tested this with a completely new admin account and there is no change. I will press buttons and it will fail to work and then sometimes there is huge input delay stopping me from actually doing anything on the menu. Really weird cause a few days ago there were no problems and it has started happening but there is nothing I changed. Only thing that may have come up was it asking me to wait to sync the data but instead I clicked to load it without the synced data so I’m not sure if that would have any bearing on nothing working on the game anymore
