Disgraceful state of EA FC 26 on PC – controller input delay
Honestly, it’s disgraceful that a company like EA would release a game like EA FC 26 in such a broken state. The game is full of bugs, lags, and massive input delay that makes it nearly impossible to play online modes with a controller.
What’s even worse is that EA keeps giving us the same “fixes” they’ve been repeating for years — disable Steam Input, turn off EA Overlay, lower settings, lock to 60 Hz and 30 FPS, etc. None of it actually solves the real problem.
The main issue seems to be that they never properly optimized or tested the game, especially with all hardware configurations. And ever since they added this new anti-cheat system, things have gotten even worse. Before that, we could easily use Xbox 360 or DS4 controllers — now nothing works properly.
At this point, it doesn’t even matter if there are cheaters or not, because for more than a month we can’t even play a single online match (Division Rivals). It’s not about refunds anymore — it’s about EA’s complete lack of interest in fixing the issue and letting PC players enjoy the game normally.
They barely communicate on the forums or give any updates, which makes the whole situation even more frustrating.
It’s really sad, because this year’s FC actually looked promising — both in terms of gameplay and new features. But all that potential means nothing when the game simply doesn’t work.
