Hey, I had a very similar issue for months where the game would launch briefly then immediately close back to EA App with no error message. Not exactly the same as yours since my PC didn't restart but the cause might be related. What fixed it for me was something super simple that nobody ever suggests — go to Start and search for 'environment variables', open 'Edit the system environment variables', click 'Environment Variables' in the Advanced tab, find a variable called 'GAME_DATA_DIR' and delete it, click OK and restart your PC. Worth trying since you've already exhausted all the common fixes. However since your PC is actually restarting completely that sounds more like a hardware issue, possibly GPU or PSU struggling under the load of the new update. Good luck, hope you find a fix!

Hello! Thanks for the comment and trying to help, I appreciate it! I did not actually have a variable called "GAME_DATA_DIR" unfortunately. But yes I think it might be a GPU or PSU issue as well, which is weird as all my other games run smoothly and my GPU is quite powerful and can run EA FC without any issues.
