EA Javelin Anti-Cheat Error (7)(2) and Install Failed 32:401

Hi, I need help with EA Javelin Anti-Cheat for FC 26.

When I launch the game, I get this error:

“EA Javelin Anticheat encountered an error. Please restart your PC: C:\Program Files\EAAC\EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe (7)(2)”

When I try to repair or reinstall EA Anti-Cheat, I get:

  • FileCopy failed error 32:401
  • Install failed error 5:701
  • Internal error #4: C0000210

Nothing works. I tried:

  • Restarting PC
  • Repairing EA AC
  • Uninstalling + reinstalling
  • Running everything as administrator
  • Updating Windows
  • Updating drivers
  • Disabling overlays
  • Disabling antivirus
  • Removing Riot Vanguard and FACEIT
  • Clean boot
  • Reinstalling the game

Nothing fixes it. Many other players online have the same problem, so it may be a new EA AC issue.

Please tell me what I should do next or if this is a known bug.

Thanks.

  • Press Win+R and type tpm.msc in the bottom box. If it shows 1.2 then that's the problem. The latest version of Javelin requires TPM 2.0. You'll need to do some research to understand how to upgrade to TPM 2.0 for your specific computer/motherboard.

    I have Tpm 1.2 ;---;

I was so excited when my friend gifted my BF6 Standard.. Now I gotta upgrade my system which sucks....

I decided to go back to the good old Battlefield 1, and guess what, that game is also showing me "(7) (2)" error... The game that worked great even on my older Cpu (i5 6500)...

EA literally broke all their games only cuz of this Modern Javelin Anti cheat bullsh*t...

Cheers, been going back and forth with ea help for ages and they did **bleep** all, deactivating my TPM made it work instantly (had 1.2)

Yeah the only work around is either 1. Upgrade, or 2. Deactivating TPM, that’s what I did, guess it makes your pc abit less secure but for me it was worth it

Well the good news is that I don't have to upgrade, hiding Tpm status in Bios actually FIXED IT!!! Been 50 hours in-game and no problems <3

The thing is that Dice from the first day, focused on Secure boot drama instead of Tpm. They wanted everyone to enable Secure boot first, before playing, so that cheaters can be decreased... Tpm is not that necessary Thankfully...

I hope they don't further introduce new requirements to their Anti cheat tho... Other than that, its a Great BF game... Not surpassing BF1's charm but it's still a really good title..<3

Yea hiding Tpm completely makes your PC a lil bit vulnerable to hackers but considering that I am on Windows 10, and it's Support and Security updates were already ended in October, it don't really matter, so hiding Tpm was the only Logical choice...<3
