EA Javelin Anti-Cheat Error 87 / 115 on Windows 11 – Lenovo Legion Pro 5 (82WM)
I am experiencing a confirmed EA Javelin Anti-Cheat compatibility issue on Windows 11.
System details:
- Device: Lenovo Legion Pro 5 16ARX8 (Type 82WM)
- OS: Windows 11 (fully updated)
- BIOS: Latest version (Lenovo blocks downgrade)
- Secure Boot: ON
- Disk: GPT
- CPU: AMD Ryzen (Legion Pro 5 platform)
Issue details:
- EA AntiCheat service fails to start with Error 87 (The parameter is incorrect)
- Game then shows Error 115 (EA Javelin required)
- EA AntiCheat installs successfully but kernel driver is rejected by Windows
- This occurs even with:
- Memory Integrity OFF
- Virtualization OFF
- Secure Boot ON
- Clean reinstall of EA AntiCheat
- Clean Steam and EA App repair
This is NOT a file corruption issue.
This appears to be an EA Javelin kernel driver compatibility bug on Windows 11 for Lenovo Legion Pro 5 (82WM).
Please escalate this as a Javelin AntiCheat compatibility issue.
