EA SPORTS FC 26 – Constant Crashes Despite All Fix Attempts (Steam Version)

Hello everyone,

I’ve been struggling with constant game crashes in EA SPORTS FC 26 since launch (September 26, 2025), and after trying literally everything, the issue still persists. I bought the game via Steam, and no matter what I do, the game keeps crashing either during a match (often around halftime or randomly mid-game) or sometimes already in the main menu.

Crash Details

According to the Windows Event Viewer, the crash source is always EAAntiCheatService, with the process fc26.exe and varying exit codes:

• 0xC0000005 (Access Violation)
• 0xC0000409 (Stack Buffer Overrun)
• 0xC0000374 (Heap Corruption)
• 0xC0000094 (Integer Divide by Zero)

What I Have Already Tried

• Fully reinstalled the game multiple times (on different drives)
• Reinstalled EA AntiCheat manually and deleted all related files before reinstalling
• Performed a Clean Boot (only Windows services running)
• Disabled all overlays (Steam, Discord, NVIDIA, Xbox Game Bar)
• Reinstalled EA App and Steam, ran both as Administrator
• Repaired DirectX, Visual C++ Redistributables, and verified Windows system files (SFC / DISM)
• Updated GPU drivers and all Windows updates
• Adjusted all in-game settings (DX11, borderless window, limited FPS, V-Sync on, DLSS/FSR off)
• Disabled antivirus protection and allowed all EA processes through Windows Defender Firewall

My system meets and even exceeds the minimum requirements, yet the game keeps crashing randomly. I have contacted EA Support (Case #224179673) but haven’t received a response so far.

After more than 39 hours of attempts, the game remains unplayable due to constant crashes, making it impossible to enjoy. I really hope the dev team can look into this, as there seem to be many others facing similar AntiCheat-related issues.
