Error when trying to purchase premium pass

I am posting on behalf of my son who is 11. I have an account which is linked to his.

He has an EA child account linked to his own PlayStation account

he can access ultimate team and purchase packs with FC points. He has 1050 points

he has never been able to purchase premium pass in any season selecting buy premium pass says ‘online services are currently unavailable

Can you please help.

we have logged out and rebooted. He has always had this problem, not just this season

I have the same issue with my 10 year old son, can’t buy the premium pass due to servers unavailable. Did you find out how to do it?
