FC 26 - Black screen on launch

Hello,

I am experiencing a persistent issue with FC 26 where the game gets stuck on a black screen immediately upon launch. The execution process starts, but it never loads past the black screen, and I have to force close it.

I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps, but unfortunately, none of them resolved the problem:
1. Performed a clean reinstallation of the EA AntiCheat.
2. Reinstalled and repaired Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables.
3. Updated my graphics card drivers to the latest available version.
4. Cleared the EA App cache, restarted my PC, and verified/repaired the game files.
5. Launched both the EA App and the game executable as an administrator.
6. Temporarily disabled background applications and overlays (such as Discord).

I have attached my complete DxDiag file below for more technical details about my system configuration.

Could anyone from the support team or the community please assist me with this, or let me know if there is a known workaround?

Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. Appreciate you grabbing the DxDiag. Here are some suggestions that may help.

Delete or rename the FC 26 settings folder at Documents\EA SPORTS FC 26\Settings

Use DDU in safe mode to cleanly removed the existing AMD driver. Then, install the latest WHQL Adrenalin package rather than installing over the existing driver.

Disable AMD Adrenalin features temporarily. Radeon Anti-Lag, Radeon Boost, Radeon Chill, Enhanced Sync, Frame Generation HYPR-RX. Then launch the game and see if it works.

Disconnect these USB devices: PS Controller, USB audio device, webcam devices. Try launch online with mouse, keyboard and monitor connected.

Check Secure Boot. Run msinfo32. Check to see if Secure Boot Stat = On and BIOS Mode = UEFI.

Try these and let me know what happens. Thanks!

I believe the specific step that resolved the issue was using DDU in Safe Mode to cleanly remove the existing AMD driver, and then installing the latest WHQL Adrenalin package with a factory reset.
Before doing that, I noticed that the 'EA SPORT FC 26' folder was completely missing from my Documents directory, meaning the couldn't even initialize properly to create its configuration files. Since all the Adrenalin features were already disabled beforehand, and my BIOS was already correctly set to UEFI with Secure Boot ON, the clean driver reinstall via DDU and clearing the USB ports was definitely the fix that allowed the game to finally launch.

I wanted to update you that the issue has been resolved. Following your instructions I managed to fix the problem and game now starts without any problems.

I'm experiencing a similar problem. The game suddenly freezes and even locks up the computer. I have to turn the computer off and on again.

Just to add more context: I bought and installed the game last night, and this morning was my very first time trying to launch it. The issue has been happening since the first run.
