FC 26 - FAILED TO LAUNCH THE GAME (Problem on our end, try again later). EA APP
Many of us on this forum and elsewhere are still having this issue where we launch the game and are treated to this message. We press play, EA App closes, the FC 26 splash screen opens, the green bar below it goes full, it then disappears and this message pops up.
I have been encountering this problem for 4-5 days now and haven't been able to play the game once. When I launch FC 25 there are no problems, it launches fine. There are still no fixes or solutions for this problem and barely any responses from EA, leaving multiple of us clueless since we've paid for this game.
Me and many others have tried various "fixes and solutions" and still nothing works. Here is a list of some I've tried:
- Closed overlays, VPNs, RGB/OC tools
- Cleared the cache (Menu > Help > App Recovery > Clear cache). Ran the EA app as administrator (right-click > Run as administrator)
- Repaired game files (In Library, click the game > Repair)
- Completely reinstalled graphics driver
- Ran the game executables (FC 26.exe, FC26.Trial.exe) as admin
- Reinstalled the entire game twice
- Turned off all Nvidia quality settings in the Nvidia app
- Smooth motion is already off (I don’t have a 40 series GPU, and that fix only applies if the game actually launches)
- All Windows and graphics drivers are up to date
- Turned off all other overlays (Discord, Steam, etc.)
Even after all of these "fixes and solutions" I still can’t launch the game and the same message pops up. What’s worse is the fact that we even have to try all of this just to launch a brand new game. Please at least acknowledge this situation so all of us encountering this problem are not left in the dark.
