FC 26 crashes after connecting to EA servers, but works offline
Hi everyone, I recently changed to a new PC, and I am having a serious issue with EA SPORTS FC 26. The game can launch normally, and it seems to work when I stay offline or do not connect to the EA...

Hi EA_Hux
Thank you for your help. I have finally found the cause of the issue.
After further testing, I discovered that the crash was related to my home network DNS settings.
Here is what I found:
- When I used my home Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection, FC 26 would crash immediately after connecting to the EA servers.
- When I connected my PC to a mobile hotspot, the game could connect to the EA servers normally and did not crash.
- After changing the DNS settings on my home network connection, the game was able to connect to the EA servers successfully and no longer crashed.
So in my case, the issue was not caused by the CPU, GPU, EA AntiCheat, game files, or local profile files. It was caused by the DNS/network environment.
For anyone experiencing a similar issue, where the game works offline but crashes after connecting to EA servers, please try changing your DNS settings.
The solution that worked for me was:
- Open Windows network settings.
- Go to the properties of the current Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection.
- Change the DNS server manually.
- Use a public DNS server, for example:
223.5.5.5
119.29.29.29or another reliable public DNS server.
- Save the settings.
- Restart the game and try connecting to EA servers again.
After changing the DNS, FC 26 worked normally for me.
I hope this helps other players who are having the same crash issue after connecting to EA servers.
