FC 26 crashes after EA Anti-Cheat launches

Hello EA Support,

I'm experiencing an issue with FC 26 on PC.

When I launch the game, EA Anti-Cheat starts loading normally. After it finishes loading, the game opens to a black screen for about 2 seconds, then it closes automatically and returns to the EA App without showing any error message.

I have already tried many troubleshooting steps, including:

Reinstalling Windows (I'm currently using Windows 11).

Updating Windows completely.

Updating all GPU drivers and other drivers.

Reinstalling EA App.

Reinstalling EA Anti-Cheat.

Verifying the game files.

Running the game and EA App as Administrator.

The issue still happens every time.

Also, FC 24 has the exact same problem, while other games work perfectly on my PC (GTA V, Fortnite, Rocket League, CS2, A Way Out, and many others). This makes me think the problem is related to EA Anti-Cheat or EA games rather than my hardware.

My PC specifications:

Lenovo ThinkPad P51

NVIDIA Quadro M1200 GPU

Windows 11 (fully updated)

Could you please help me identify the cause of this issue or provide a solution?

Thank you.

Thank you for getting the DxDiag. I've got some suggestions for you. However, your Quadro M1200 might have some poor performance. Just something to keep in mind should we you get the game successfully launched.

    Please try these suggestions:

    1. Hybrid graphics is enabled. We need to make sure you're using the NVIDIA GPU. In Windows, go to Settings > System > Display > Graphics. Set all of these to High Performance:
      • fc26.exe
      • EAapp.exe
      • EADesktop.exe
      • EABackgroundService.exe
      • EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe
    2. In the NVIDIA control panel, go to Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings and set FC 26 to High-performance NVIDIA processor
    3. Your intel GPU driver is really old. Try installing the newest Intel HD 530 driver from Lenovo.
    4. The C: drive only has about 35 GB of free space. It would be good to free up 20 - 30 GB more before you test launching the game again

If none of these help, try performing a clean boot with only Microsoft services and the EA Background Service enabled. If it launches successfully, there's a program causing the crash.

Also, as a test, it would be good to disable any overlays or monitoring software like MSI Afterburner, RTSS, Discord, GeForce Experience, Nahimic, Lenovo Vantage, etc.

Let me know what happens. Thanks!

Hey there. Thanks for reaching out. Can you get me a DxDiag? I'll go over that for any issues that might be causing this. You can find instructions for gathering the report in this article for diagnosing PC game issues. Just attach it to a response.
