My game keeps crashing for no reason and just returns to the ea app. Its been happening for a month now, I have tried many solutions, updating drivers, bios, etc and even running the game at low settings. I have a good gaming laptop so not sure what is causing it. This game has left me severely disappointed and I can't even get a refund now.
I'm having the same issue, looks like anticheat in the crashdumps.
We need help from EA.
Is this a prevalent issue? I too read somewhere about anticheat causing this and Uninstalled and reinstalled it but didn't work.
I’m also having this issue. It was not happening to me before so I’m very confused as to why it is now. If anyone knows a real fix I’ll be eternally grateful.

I'm having the same problem the game runs for 45 seconds then just closes without any errors. I've tried everything . Uninstalling , reinstalling, clearing cache got sent the trouble shooting links by ea support several times went through the entire list (several times) and nothing works and no one at EA has a clue to what is going on . This is also happening on Madden 26 . Meanwhile Battlefield 6 and Arc Raiders work fine and run great ! It's only Madden and EA FC doing this. I'm also on a gaming laptop with a Nvidia 4090 ... Also the game use to run fine so I'm not sure what changed ?
Ok so for the past couple of days I have been disabling Bitdefender whenever I play fc 26 and my game runs fine with no crashes. If there’s more people who find this then we should bring attention towards this for EA.
I reported this in the German Forum. EA doesn't care. FC 25 also had this problem for a while.
How do you "disable" Bitdefender ? I tried turning off everything in Bitdefender and that didn't work .
This is the answer but you can't just untoggle everything you have to disable the bitdefender shield. It's crazy that Anticheat is detected as some kind of virus. I tried setting an exception but that didn't seem to work . Oh and it's only in the beginning when you launch the game once the game is launched you can re-enable it and it will still run fine.
