FC 26 PC – DisplayName field missing from registry (26 Sept 2025)

Hello, I am still experiencing the error "DisplayName field missing from registry" when trying to launch EA SPORTS FC 26 on PC. Today is 26 September 2025 and the issue still persists. I purchased the game via Epic Games Store and linked my Epic account correctly with my EA account. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled both the game and the EA App multiple times. I also cleared EA App cache, removed all Origin leftovers, repaired the game files, reinstalled EA AntiCheat, and even tried launching the game from a new Windows user profile. Unfortunately, the error still appears. This problem was widely reported around 18 September (early access launch) and EA mentioned it was being investigated, but for me the issue is still not fixed as of today. My system specs: HP Victus 15.6", Intel Core i5-13420H, 32 GB RAM (16+16 upgrade), 512 GB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU, Windows 11 64-bit fully updated. Could you please check my account license and activation status? From what I can tell, the game still tries to call the old Origin activation window instead of EA App. Maybe my license needs a manual refresh or reset, especially since I bought the game through Epic Games.
