FC 26 PC – Setting Change to ultra auto - Match drops FPS

Hi, I had the same problems too. First, set the settings you play well with in the eafc 26 menu, either from the nvidia app or directly from the fcsetup.ini file. Then, try setting the configuration files (fcsetup.ini, fcsetup_default.ini, overrideAutodetect.lua) to read-only first, and then deny them write access for each user. That's how I solved it. However, I think the biggest problems or the settings that should be lowered are the rendering scale (even lowering the normal resolution to 720p, 1080p caused a drop in fps with the rendering scale at 100), Ambient Occlusion to medium-low, and setting Hair Strands to off. I hope this helps you solve the problem.

i removed nvidia app , reinstalled nvidia driver with clean install , also disabled all write access to fcsetup.ini, fcsetup_default.ini, overrideAutodetect.lua
still game changed setting to ultra auto 🤧

Hello, I still see the same ultra settings in the ea 26 game menu but it doesn't use those settings it says because when I go to the nvidia app I see my custom settings and the frame drops and lag are gone, have you tried playing a game and the frame drops persist?

with or without nvidia app , problem exist, even i try to play game in nvidia app using nvidia play button , also with optimized button nvidia 

ok, what are your specs? i have rtx 5060 i5 14400f and  after the fix  FC26 run 60 fps stable ultra settings in 4K

ram 32gb

Hello, first try to make a backup of the EA SPORTS FC 26 folder located in AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 26 then delete the original folder so as to force the game to recreate clean files from the latest update, then go to the game menu and set the settings with which your PC runs best, because with your hardware specifications it should work fine.
