FC 26 restarting PC

Hello,

I have been experiencing a serious issue with FC 26 for about a week now. The game suddenly causes my PC to restart without any error message or warning.

The problem happens randomly:

Sometimes during a match

Sometimes in menus

No specific moment or pattern

Before this, the game was working perfectly fine. I didn’t change anything significant, so I don’t understand what caused the issue.

I want to clarify that this problem ONLY happens with FC 26.

All my other games work perfectly fine (even demanding ones), with no crashes or restarts at all.

Things I already tried:

Reinstalling the game

Verifying game files

Clearing cache

Disabling antivirus / security features

Changing game settings

Installing the game on a different drive

Nothing worked. The issue still persists.

At this point, the game is unplayable because I can’t finish matches without my PC restarting.

If anyone has experienced the same issue or found a solution, please share.

    Hi, thanks again for your help.

    I have already tried multiple troubleshooting steps (including EA AntiCheat repair, system file checks, reinstalling the game, and updating drivers/BIOS), but the issue still persists.

    I have also tested several demanding games, and everything works normally. For example, Battlefield 6 runs stable online for hours, and all other games work without any crashes or restarts.

    The BIOS and all system/game-related software are fully updated. The game also worked normally when I first installed it.

    The issue is very specific: only FC 26 causes an instant PC restart while playing, with no crash, no freeze, and no BSOD. The system simply restarts immediately.

    Because everything else works fine, this seems to be specific to FC 26 or its anti-cheat/system interaction.

    I would appreciate any advanced logs or deeper troubleshooting steps for this type of issue.

    PC Specs:

    Ryzen 5600X

    RX 6700

    24GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM

    NVMe SSD

    Windows 11 (fully updated)

    Hi there. Thanks for listing everything you already tried — that rules out most of the basic steps. Try the following steps if the whole PC is crashing while playing. 

    1. Repair all installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2015–2022 Redistributables in Windows Control Panel.
    2. Run Command Prompt as Administrator and use sfc /scannow to scan, detect, and repair corrupted, damaged, or missing system files
    3. Reboot, then install the latest BIOS update available for your motherboard.
    4. Go to ...\EA SPORTS FC 26\__Installer\EAAntiCheat\EAAntiCheat.Installer and run Repair/Install for EA AntiCheat.
    5. Do a deeper clean reset of FC 26 and EA App data: uninstall the game, delete AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 26, AppData\Local\EADesktop, plus AppData\Roaming\EA and AppData\Roaming\Electronic Arts, then reinstall
