Please follow the steps in our EA Javelin anticheat guide to resolve this error.
DiscSoftLTD (Daemon Tools) is software that’s not permitted to run at the same time as a Javelin-protected game.
To get back in the game, follow these steps:
- Fully uninstall ReWasd on your computer. Consult the manufacturer for uninstallation steps.
- Uninstall other software from DiscSoftLtd. This can be Daemon Tools, Rewasd, Catch!, Astroburn, or iSCSI.
- Make sure you don't have a DaemonTools or DiscSoft entry in the Windows Device Manager. This can appear as one or many devices named Daemon Tools. Look for the entries below, and right-click to uninstall them:
- Storage Controllers for Daemon Tools Lite Virtual Scsi Bus
- Bluetooth as Virtual Bluetooth HID Device
- or a Universal Serial Bus controller device entry called Daemon Tools Lite Virtual Usb Bus.
Then restart your computer and try again.
Here are some other alternative approved software we support:
- KeyMapper
- Microsoft's official PowerToys software, Keyboard Manager
- Steam Input features within the Steam client
- Kanata
- KMonad.

Are you also getting the same ReWASD - DiscSoftLTD (Daemon Tools) error? If you are, you'll have to identify any leftover components from this software on your PC that are causing it.
Please also try reinstalling the game, the EA Javelin anticheat, and clearing the cache.
Refreshing the installation data and emptying the cache might help.
