FC26 Pro Clubs Bug – My Player Turns AI-Controlled After Update

Since the latest FC26 update, I can no longer control my Pro Clubs player properly in matches. I only control one player as normal, but suddenly during games my player becomes AI-controlled and I completely lose control of them. My controller still works, but I can’t move, pass, or do anything with my character while the AI takes over.

This started happening only after the recent update and it’s making Pro Clubs unplayable for me. I’ve already tried restarting the game/controller but the issue keeps happening.

Is anyone else experiencing this bug after the update? Any fixes from EA or the community?

Hey everyone!

Thanks for all the reports. The team has investigated the issue that caused losing control of a player during matches and a hotfix has just been released earlier today on all affected platforms as part of Title Update v1.5.6.

I’ve already reported this directly to EA Support so it’s logged on their system.
If others are facing this too, I strongly recommend reporting it directly as well so EA can see the scale of the problem and flag it as urgent for a fix.

Go to: https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/
Select EA SPORTS FC
Choose your platform (PlayStation / Xbox / PC)
Pick Gameplay / Technical Issue
Select “I need help with a bug or technical issue”
Choose Live Chat or Create a Case to submit the report
The more individual reports EA receives, the faster this is likely to be prioritised and fixed.

Literally the worst developers on the planet. Currently in a game now where the exact same has happened. 3v7 which is now 2v7. Absolute joke.

After getting kicked out over 10x on Pro Clubs I have decided to NEVER play this game again. Why get on at all if you're going to get disconnected 95% of the time. Absolutely SHOCKING.

I know they are not gonna fix it. And if they do, something else will turn up. I really hope EA dies, for the sake of gaming.

Once someone from any team just leaves the match then the controller is disconnected to just watch the game for a while then kick me out!!
