FC26 Unplayable – EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe Crashing Mid-Match
Hello,
Issue summary:
FC26 crashes mid-match every single time without exception. I have never completed a single match since purchasing the game.
Root cause identified via Windows Event Viewer:
• APPCRASH — EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe — Exception code c0000005 (Access Violation)
• Event ID 1000 — EA Javelin Anticheat — "Invalid argument count"
• Event ID 7034 — EAAntiCheatService terminated unexpectedly
The crash originates inside EA's own anticheat software (EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe), not from my system or configuration.
My system: ASUS ROG Strix Scar G533ZM, Intel i7-12700H, RTX 3060 Laptop GPU, 16GB RAM, Windows 11 Home 25H2.
Troubleshooting already completed:
- Multiple full clean reinstalls of FC26 and EA Anticheat
- Cleared all EA App and game caches
- Removed all other EA titles to eliminate service conflicts
- Manually deleted and re-registered EAAntiCheatService via Command Prompt
- Windows SFC scan (found and repaired corrupted files) and DISM
- DDU clean GPU driver reinstall
- Disabled Armoury Crate, PowerToys, all overlays and background software
- Adjusted GPU, Windows Game Mode, and display settings
Given that the game is unplayable due to a confirmed bug in EA's own software, and given the extensive effort I have put into resolving this without success, I am requesting a full refund. I am also happy for this to be escalated to your technical team as a bug report.
Thank you for your time.
