Disconnections in Rivals and Champions
Hello EA Support,
I am contacting you because I have a serious technical issue with FC 26 that has directly affected my Weekend League and Rivals experience.
Since Friday evening, when Weekend League started, I was only able to play 10 out of my 15 matches. For the remaining matches, I was unable to play because of a recurring connection error.
Every time I tried to enter a match in either Rivals or Weekend League, I would be disconnected before or during the match and receive a message saying that I had been disconnected from my opponent and that the game would determine who won or lost.
I tried everything to fix this problem:
- Completely uninstalled and reinstalled FC 26.
- Checked my internet connection.
- Restarted my PS5 and network equipment.
- Connected my PS5 to a completely different internet network.
- Tried playing again after changing the network connection.
Despite all of these steps, the problem continued.
Because of this technical issue, which was not caused by me, I was unable to complete my Weekend League matches and therefore missed out on the rewards I should have received. I also currently cannot play Rivals because the same issue continues to happen.
I do not think it is fair that I should lose matches, rewards and progress because of a technical problem with the game. I have already spent a lot of time trying to troubleshoot the issue myself, including reinstalling the entire game and testing another internet connection.
I am therefore asking EA to investigate my account and match history, verify the disconnects, and provide appropriate compensation for the Weekend League matches and rewards I lost because of this issue.
Please do not simply send me generic troubleshooting instructions, as I have already tried all of the basic solutions, including using a completely different internet connection and reinstalling the game.
I would appreciate an actual investigation into the issue and a fair resolution.
