EA AntiCheat Crash

1. Repair Windows component/system files. Open Terminal/Command Prompt as Administrator and run the following. Then restart Windows: 
   
   

   DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
   sfc /scannow

2. Perform a clean NVIDIA driver install and try playing again.
3. Try a clean boot. If you don't crash, there's a program running that needs to be disabled. Make sure to remove or disable anything related to RGBm fan, motherboard utilities, overclocking/monitoring software, controller remapping, third party antivirus, VPNs, virualization-related utilities, debugging/process-inspection software and overlays. Also, it looks like you have a Razer device as well as a GameSir controller. Disconnect the controller and close down any utilities related to it. 
4. Make sure Secure Boot is enabled. Open a command prompt and run msinfo32. Verify: BIOS Mode: UEFI  and Secure Boot State: On.
5. Launch the EA App as an administrator.

If you're still having trouble, take a look at the Event Viewer entries from the same time the game is launched. This is under Windows Logs > Application and Windows Loges > System. Look for anything from Javelin/EAAntiCheat, Service Control Manager, CodeIntegrity, Application Error, WHEA, Display or nvlddmkm. Copy those out for me.

I’ve followed all of the troubleshooting steps you provided, including repairing Windows using DISM and SFC, performing a clean NVIDIA driver installation, doing a clean boot, confirming that BIOS Mode is UEFI and Secure Boot is enabled, and running the EA App as administrator. Unfortunately, FC 26 is still crashing.

I also checked Event Viewer under Windows Logs to see if there were any additional errors around the time of the crash. I found the following events.

Service Control Manager – Event ID 7040: The start type of the Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) was changed from Auto Start to Demand Start.

FilterManager – Event ID 1: The file system filter "eaanticheat" (version 10.0, 2026-08-07T19:42:31.000000000Z) was unloaded successfully.

EA Javelin Anticheat – Event ID 1000: fc26.exe exited unexpectedly with exit code 0xFFFFFFFF.

Thanks for trying. Next, I'd like you to get me some Event Viewer logs. Go to Event Viewer > Applications and Services Logs > Microsoft > Windows > CodeIntegrity > Operational. 

Then, launch FC 26 and wait for it to crash. Refresh the log and check for events generated within the last minute of the launch attempt. If you find any, let me know the Event ID and full general text. Especially anything with a .sys, .dll, FC26.exe, EA/Javelin, an unisgned file, an invalid image/hash, or a blocked module.

Also check:

and:

Applications and Services Logs > Microsoft > Windows > Windows Defender > Operational

I also found the following event from EA Javelin AntiCheat:

Event ID 1000: fc26.exe exited unexpectedly with exit code 0xFFFFFFFF

There were no relevant events in CodeIntegrity or AppLocker, and Windows Defender shows that real-time protection and the other protection components are enabled.

The Javelin AntiCheat Event ID 1000 is the only event I found that directly reports FC 26 exiting unexpectedly.

Apologies. I didn't see this response previously. I'd like you to check the Reliability Monitor. Hit Win+R and enter perfmon /rel. Find the FC 26 failure at the exact time of the Javelin Event 1000. If there is an FC26.exe/EA SPORTS FC 26 critical event, select it and choose View technical details. Look for the following:

Thank you! It looks like the EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe is crashing. Next, check for a WER report for GameServiceLauncher. Look in: C:\ProgramData\eaanticheat\Crashdumps. Also, check %LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps. Look for something like: EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe.dmp. It might help to sort by Date Modified.
